  • Presentation of SAMBA in Maranhão (Brazil)
    During a regional meeting in January 26th in São Luis, in the state of Maranhão (Brazil), the project SAMBA officially started the users analisys phase in Brazil.
  • Presentation in the PLC Seminar in Porto Alegre – Brazil
    In July 6th we presented a panel about the SAMBA deployment with participation of APTEL and PUSP. The seminar has an attendance of 240 people. The presentation files are attached.
  • Presentation in the meeting of the Work Group of Alternative Technologies of eLAC2007 in Bogotá
    The Latin America and Caribean countries have adopted the eLAC2007 Plan of Action in the context of the World Summit for Information Society focused in the development of regional initiatives toward the inclusion of the people and the development of the region. In this context, Colombia coordinates the work group that deal with actions for deployment of the Digital TV and alternative telecommunication technologies for universal access.
    The group met in August 16th and 17th, in Bogotá and APTEL was invited to inform and suggest projects and actions that will be part of the group report that will be presented in the eLAC2007 summit in November of this year.
